And here are the items in the Glossybox Holiday 2015 Box:
I'm just oooh-ing and aaaah-ing as I look at the items, absolutely loving it!
Items in detail:
- Aerin Kaleidolight Palette
- Value $70
I knew I was receiving this palette from previous spoilers, so I was definitely excited to open this up.
This palette is bigger and more gorgeous in person. I love the gold case, well I love everything gold so I might be biased, but it truly is pretty and screams luxury.
And not only is the case gorgeous, but it comes with a pretty baby pink drawstring cover, how awesome is that!
A closer look at the colors in the palette. You can use each color individually for your eyes, or sweep your brush through all the colors to add some color and subtle glow to your face.
Here's the details on each color:
I like the versatility and multi-purpose of this palette, and of course the packaging definitely made this extra special and fancy. Can't wait to use this!
- NUXE Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse
- Value $45
Although using dry oils is something that I'm just warming up to, this bottle is just too darn cute plus it's gold too. It can be used on your hair to create beach waves, blended into foundation for an added glow, or as a body moisturizer. I'll be using this mostly to treat the dry spots I get during the winter, and since the bottle is huge, this will surely last quite awhile.
- Ardency Inn Eyeliner
- Value $19
I've never heard of this brand before, but I love trying out new products and a black eyeliner is always needed, so off this goes to my makeup stash to be used very soon!
- Pure Cosmetics Glossygloss Lipgloss in Pouty Pink
- Value $20
Although I have tons and tons of lip products, I can never have enough and welcome this lipgloss with open arms. The color Pouty Pink is a light mauve color that will give color to my lips and yet still look natural. And what's even more amazing is that this lipgloss has a built-in mirror, see picture below.
Absolutely love the built-in mirror, so convenient. But guess what, not only does it have the mirror, but this lipgloss also lights up when you open the cover, I am blown away!
Granted I may not be in a situation where I need to reapply my lipgloss in the dark that often (where was this when I was clubbing in my younger days!), but it's still so cool, totally happy I got this!
- Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Champagne Socialite
- Value $15
I love Trust Fund Beauty nail polishes! Not only are they 7-free, cruelty free, non-toxic and vegan, but they also apply really smooth and last long.
I already have quite a few colors from them, but not this Champagne Socialite one, so I'm thankful for that. It's a light rose gold color that will go great for the holidays.
- L'atelier Maquillage Mascara Keracare
- Value $30
This mascara is keratin-protein based so it will also nourish your lashes as you wear this. What I found interesting is that it can be cleansed with just warm water, so I'm not sure if this will last long or have the staying power that I need my mascara to be, but it will probably go well for people who have lash extensions, or so they say.
My Thoughts: For the $40 price, this box was amazing, especially when the total value came up to $199! I think it had a good mix of beauty products that were both pretty in packaging and useful for your beauty routine. I think the gold theme fit the holidays well, and the brands featured definitely represented luxury to me. Definitely pleased with this box and so glad I purchased it!
